I was born in Mexico City on May 30, 1964, and graduated from Universidad Iberoamericana with a degree in Political Science and Public Administration.
Early in my career, I served in several public roles within the Government of Mexico, which shaped my understanding of institutions, communication, and public impact.
I later became the General Director of Constructora Inmobiliaria del Suchiate in the state of Chiapas. In 1998, I moved to Houston, Texas, where I continued my professional journey across branding, entertainment, and media.
Over the years, I have served as Director of Marketing and Promotion for LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy), Director of Entertainment for Arena Theatre, Entertainment Director for Showtime, and U.S. Director for Grupo Milenio–Multimedios of Monterrey, Mexico.
Today, I lead Latin Concepts, where I provide consulting in entertainment, wines and spirits, branding, and the restaurant industry. My work also extends to institutional relations and public communication.
I was honored with Mexico’s Public Administration Award in 1985, served as President of the “México Nuevo” group in Chiapas supporting the presidential campaign of Luis Donaldo Colosio, and am a member of the boards of St. Jude’s Hospital and the National Cancer Institute in Mexico.
I am also the son of well-known Mexican radio personality Ken Smith (RIP) — a legacy that inspires my continued commitment to communication, culture, and public influence.
